Richard L. Feinberg, M.D.
Assistant Professor of Surgery
Dr. Feinberg joined Johns Hopkins in 2008, after serving as chairman of the Section of Vascular Surgery at Suburban Hospital and director of Vascular Surgical Services at the George Washington University Hospital. He completed an internship and residency at the George Washington University School of Medicine, and fellowships at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine and The Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Board-certified in both general and vascular surgery, Dr. Feinberg serves as assistant professor of surgery at Johns Hopkins. He also directs the Johns Hopkins Vein Center in Howard County and an outpatient non-invasive vascular diagnostic laboratory in Howard County. Dr. Feinberg is also on staff at Howard County General Hospital. He has co-authored numerous publications and contributed to several professional organizations across the country with his expertise.
Clinical Interests:
Varicose vein treatment, including laser vein ablation, minimally invasive powered phlebectomy, spider vein injection, sclerotherapy and traditional surgical varicose vein excision; carotid artery disease; abdominal aortic aneurysms (endovascular aortic stent-grafting and open AAA repair); peripheral arterial disease (baloon angioplasty/stenting as well as traditional bypass surgery)
