2) to conduct basic and clinical research that will advance the care of patients with these diseases and improve our understanding.

3) to provide state of the art training for surgical residents and fellows interested in pursuing a career in Endocrine Surgery.

  • Thyroid surgery
  • Cervical lymph node dissection
  • Parathyroid surgery (including minimally invasive)
  • Adrenal surgery (including laparoscopic)
  • Pancreatic islet cell surgery (including laparoscopic)

Research program:

Molecular markers of thyroid cancer
