Widely known for their expertise in treating pancreas cancer and liver cancer, our hepatopancreatobiliary surgeons specialize in the surgical removal of both cancers and benign tumors of the pancreas, bile duct, gallbladder and liver. Rare conditions, such as neuroendocrine tumors or pancreatic islet cell cancer are also treated here. Working with a team of other specialists, our surgeons evaluate patients in the Johns Hopkins Liver Tumor Center, the Johns Hopkins Pancreatic Cyst Clinic and the Johns Hopkins Pancreatitis Center.  The most advanced minimally invasive and robotic techniques are used when possible.
