A prescription for a physical therapy evaluation and treatment with a diagnosis that is within 30 days of issue is required from a Maryland, Virginia or Washington, D.C. physician.

Our Program

Our program begins with a neuromuscular evaluation that consists of a visual/oculomotor exam, positional testing, a Hallpike vertigo measure, balance testing (including Smart Balance Master Sensory Organization Test and Limit of Stability Tests) and gait evaluation.

The treatments may include visual exercise, habituation exercises, repositioning maneuvers (Epley, Brandt, Semont), balance retraining, gait training, safety/fall prevention education, therapeutic exercise and/or home exercise education.
