Suburban Hospital's Cancer Care is dedicated to preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer for residents in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region. In partnership with community physicians, staff, other health care providers and research affiliates, the Cancer Program provides a comprehensive range of high quality, compassionate and cost-effective services, including health education, screening, clinical research, diagnosis, treatment, psychosocial support and palliative care.

Through our affiliation with the Bethesda-based National Cancer Institute, Suburban Hospital has developed a unique program that provides patients with access to extraordinary treatment options and clinical research trials. Our many centers of care provide an integrated response to illness, applying sophisticated radiation therapy technology, infusion chemotherapy and cutting-edge imaging such as PET scanning. Our program addresses all forms of cancer, with the emphasis on the major adult solid malignancies:  breast, colon, lung and prostate.

We realize you have a choice in where you go for health care, and we strive to be your preferred hospital, right here in your neighborhood.
