2011 Medical Student Research Awards

2011 Medical Student Research Day Award winners

Dear friends,

Thursday, January 6, 2011 marked the third annual Johns Hopkins Medical Student Research Day (MSRD). This event was a formal showcase for medical students to share their research accomplishments with the wider Hopkins community.

In addition to providing students an opportunity to network and connect with other research-oriented students and faculty, podium presentations at the 2011 MSRD were eligible for the Henry Strong Denison Research Award, the Harold Lamport Biomedical Research Prize, and the W. Barry Wood Student Research Award. Accepted abstract presentations were eligible for the Excellence in Medical Student Research Award. A dedicated group of faculty members acted as judges.

Any research in basic science, clinical science and public health & policy that is not part of a PhD thesis was eligible for consideration for this award.
