We are proud to announce that Friday, May 8, 2009 marks the inaugural Medical Student Research Day. This will be a formal showcase for medical students to share their research accomplishments with the wider Hopkins community.

This event has been organized under the auspices of Dean Koenig and the Office of Student Affairs. With prizes lined up, including the Henry Strong Denison Research Award, the Harold Lamport Biomedical Research Prize, and the W. Barry Wood Student Research Award, and a line of illustrious faculty engaged, we now invite all medical students to submit abstracts for poster and podium presentations.
Any research in basic science, clinical science and public health & policy is eligible. A limited number of clinical vignettes will also be accepted.
Interested students may refer to the attached guidelines or contact jhstudentresearch@gmail.com. The deadline for submissions is 5pm, April 1, 2009.
