Associate Professor Promotion Committee

Associate Professors Promotions Committee (APPC)

Our goal is to help you and your director in the promotions process.

Here you’ll find a template of properly prepared CV for academic promotion, and nomination letters that showcase scholarship expertise in research, teaching, clinical, and/or program building along with evidence of national  recognition for this scholarship—the criteria by which you are evaluated for promotion.

You’ll also find an FAQ section with answers extracted or directly linked to the Silver and Gold Books. Both documents are essential resources for all faculty. For those faculty (full-time or part-time) who are being nominated for promotion to Associate Professor, completion of the  of the APPC Web based Nomination Manager is required. You will need to create a user name and password to access the program. Those candidates who are being nominated for the rank of Associate Professor (Adjunct), review of the candidate's CV and Director's letter by the APPC is required, but the completion and submission of the nomination manager is not.
