The mission of the Office of Assessment and Evaluation is to enhance Johns Hopkins medical school curriculum through student assessment and program evaluation. To this end, the office provides the following services:
- Program evaluation of Genes-to-Society curriculum
- Course evaluation
- Psychometric analysis of internally developed tests, the comprehensive clinical skills exam (CCSE), and other internally developed surveys
- Faculty development on test construction and evaluation
- Management of the Student Outcomes Research Data Warehouse (SORD)
- Statistical consulting for medical education studies
