The Johns Hopkins Sinus Center is is a leader in rhinology research as the #1 NIH research funded sinus program in the country. Our division prides itself on our strong emphasis on research that supports and enhances the clinical care of our patients. Currently, we are working in earnest to uncover the causes of chronic rhinosinusitis and nasal polyposis, as well as mechanisms underlying the loss of the sense of smell. We also are dedicated to improving patient care through outcomes research into the medical and surgical management of rhinosinusitis. The Johns Hopkins Sinus Center has a collaborative partnership with the Johns Hopkins Allergy and Asthma Center and the Bloomberg School of Public Health to further our common research goals in understanding and treating sinus and nasal disorders. - Causes of chronic rhinosinusitis
