Package Inspections

Attention employees and visitors to the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore campus, including The Johns Hopkins Hospital:

We maintain security measures that serve visitors, patients and employees. Officers are posted at entrances and reserve the right to question and inspect and search packages of employees or visitors before they enter or leave the premises.

This is to ensure that dangerous or inappropriate materials do not enter the premises, and to further ensure that property is not removed without authorization.

All vehicles, lockers, desks, offices or containers that are Hopkins property, as well as briefcases, backpacks, parcels and other personal belongings of employees or visitors, are subject to inspection and search by Corporate Security Officers or their designated agents.
