To help ensure a successful event, we ask each sponsor to please respect the following policies...
- Sponsors are responsible for however many children are listed under the family or families they choose to sponsor. Some families may consist of only one (1) child while others may list ten (10) children. So if you wish to sponsor only one (1) child, please select a family that lists only one (1) child; if you wish to sponsor two (2) or more children, please choose a family or families accordingly.
- When you register to sponsor any of our Share & Care families, we ask that you please be sure to commit in accordance with your means. Many people have big hearts and mean well, but sometimes sponsors choose a family with needs beyond what they can truly afford.
- Please be sure to keep a record of the Family # and corresponding "Wish List" items (suggested gifts listed for each child on Santa's List) listed for the children of that family. Rhonda or Kara will send you an e-mail confirmation that you can print out or save on your computer for reference.
- Please be sure to follow the instructions listed on our "Sponsorship Instructions" page carefully. This helps prevent confusion and ensures that each child will receive the gifts intended for them without fail. If you have any questions or need clarification on anything, please do not hesitate to contact Rhonda or Kara - they are most willing to help you in any way they can!
- Giving food: Non-perishable food items or a gift card to a local grocery store are excellent gift ideas! Many Share & Care families have everyday needs that extend well beyond holiday gift items. When the Share & Care team is notified of specific needs, those needs are noted on Santa's List.
