Definition: Dual Access refers to the ability to park on both the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore and Bayview Medical campuses. Those individuals authorized to have Dual Access privileges will pay the MHHEFA parking program monthly for parking at the East Baltimore Campus. MHHEFA will pay the Bayview Parking Program the part time or full time rate for the individual, eliminating any out-of-pocket expense. Purpose: Procedure: Parking staff will verify the individual is a current customer in good standing and that the individual meets requirements found in the Authorized Individuals section below. Upon verification, parking staff will authorize parking at Bayview by signing the form or by reply e-mail. The individual will take the approved form or e-mail to the Bayview Parking office located in the MFL Center Tower to be activated in the Bayview system. Bayview parking office will activate the individual's privileges and will bill the MHHEFA parking system on a monthly basis. Dual Access privileges will be extended for a maximum of one year, with privileges expiring June 30th each year. Individuals who wish to extend their dual access privilege must renew their request by the steps listed above. Authorized Individuals: Rotating Housestaff, Rotating Medical Students, and Staff who self pay for monthly parking on the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore Medical Campus.
