About Anthony McKnight

A dependable and consciencious employee, Anthony served as a Protective Services Officer on the 8x4 Shift at Johns Hopkins' medical campus in East Baltimore. Just shy of his fourth anniversary as a Corporate Security employee, Anthony passed away on May 24, 2003, at the young age of 25.

Fondly remembered for his attitude of kindness, service and dedication, Anthony made an indelible impression on all who had the privilege to know him at Corporate Security. Thus came the birth of the scholarship program which now bears his name. It was one of Anthony's fellow security officers, PSO Julius Clark, who submitted the idea to create a scholarship in Anthony's name.

The Anthony McKnight Memorial Scholarship Fund exists solely on individual donations and, primarily, thanks to the proceeds of our annual Anthony McKnight Golf Classic held each fall since 2004.
