The Johns Hopkins Consultative Rheumatology Clinic at Good Samaritan Hospital is staffed by attending physicians and faculty members of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. All are Board Certified in Rheumatology. In addition, our clinical fellows work in the clinic under the supervision of an attending physician. It is our mission to provide excellent clinical care while seeking to better understand the causes, natural history, and best treatment approaches for rheumatologic diseases. At times, patients may be referred to one of our disease-specific Subspecialty Clinics.

Please contact your pharmacy if you need a refill of a medication prescribed by one of our physicians. Your pharmacy will fax a refill authorization request to our office, if necessary. This process minimizes errors in the transmission of information about your medication and dosage. We do not fill prescriptions over the weekend or holidays. Some prescriptions require prior authorization by your insurance plan, and this may take several days to obtain. Please plan ahead and call your pharmacy 7 days before running out of your medications.
If you call our office for a prescription refill, please leave the following information on the answering machine (443-444-4646):
• Your name
• Your date of birth (we have many patients with the same name!)
• The medication name
• The medication dosage
• How you are taking the medication (once daily, twice daily, etc.)
• The quantity needed (one month or 3 month supply)
• The pharmacy phone number
• Your contact number where you can be reached DURING THE DAY (such as a cell phone) if we have questions.
