"I enjoy working at Hopkins because it has always been a part of my life. As a young kid I could see the Johns Hopkins sign from my house and knew I wanted to work there someday. After being discharged from the Navy I worked as an ER security officer and seeing the trauma team save so many lives was inspirational and a reminder of why I needed  to do more to make a difference.  My career path took me through electrician training to RT school to Towson University, and ultimately to adult clinical coordinator.  I enjoy working at Hopkins simply because of the opportunities that present themselves even when you don’t expect them.”

The Respiratory Therapy department welcomed me into their family and I have learned so much from my coworkers and staff. As a pediatric clinical coordinator, this department has provided me with management experience and opportunities to learn and develop not only as a person, but as a leader.”

ECMO Services

"My joys of working with ECMO comes from seeing the faces of the children that are in need of care and they see you as part of the team that will provide them with the best care possible. The teamwork that is displayed here at the Department of Respiratory Care and the entire hospital gives the optimal advantage of treating the patients at our institution and will continue to complement my success."
