Stephen Berry Lab

  • Research in the Stephen Berry Lab focuses on health care quality, safety and costs among persons living with HIV, with the aim of understanding effective and economically sound care strategies. We’ve conducted interventional and observational studies of sexually transmitted infection screenings in HIV clinics, with a focus on improving performance to meet national guidelines. We’ve also performed multiple studies of rates and reasons for hospitalizations and of 30-day readmission rates among HIV patients, which is a quality of care indicator.
