David Hellmann Lab

  • Research in the David Hellman Lab focuses primarily on the rheumatic disease vasculitis. Our studies have involved evaluating patients with temporal arteritis, giant cell arteritis and Takayasu arteritis. We have also explored topics such as Wegener's granulomatosis and polyarteritis nodosa. Our research also has investigated how the detection of temporal arteritis may be impacted by other diseases, such as chlamydia pneumoniae.
