The Admitting Office is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., M-F and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. weekends and holidays.
Reservations can be made Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to
4:30 p.m.
For information related to insurance, preauthorization requirements
and estimate of hospital costs, call 410-740-7675, Monday through
Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Admitting Office will need the following information for preregistration.
Registration forms are available by calling 410-740-7670.
- Date of admission
- Patient's full name
- Patient's current address, phone number
- Patient's date of birth
- Patient's sex
- Provisional diagnosis (not procedure)
- Nature of admission (elective, urgent, emergency)
- Source of admission (e.g., patient is to come to Howard County
General Hospital from home, hospital, nursing home)
