As part of Johns Hopkins Medicine, the Sibley Radiation Oncology Department uses and contributes to the comprehensive safety program created at Johns Hopkins. As an international leader in radiation safety, our standards for safety serve as an example for other academic and community-based radiation practices. Not only do we employ the required equipment and treatment quality assurance protocols, we go well beyond those protocols by integrating innovative safety techniques developed by experts on our staff.
Patients at Sibley can also take part in Hopkins clinical trials and benefit from the pioneering research conducted at Hopkins. Sibley’s clinical team exchanges clinical and research trials with Hopkins staff, creating a seamless information-sharing network that benefits patients throughout the Baltimore-Washington, DC metropolitan region.
