The Quality and Safety Research Group (now operating as the Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality) is one of 17 prime partners on ACTION II, a public-private collaboration dedicated to promoting and accelerating the dissemination and implementation of research into evidence-based improvements that can be incorporated into routine practice in hospitals and other health care settings. The goal of ACTION II is to measurably improve quality and safety while reducing the costs of health care in the United States and globally.
As a prime partner, the Armstrong Institute leads the research efforts for its group, an extensive network that includes state hospital associations, academic medical institutions, insurers, professional societies and other organizations. See our list of partners.
