The Quality and Safety Research Group

The goal of the Johns Hopkins Quality and Safety Research Group (QSRG) is to make patient care safer worldwide. They strive to achieve this by designing, testing, translating evidence into practice and educating others about ways to advance the science of healthcare delivery, reduce patient harm and save lives.

In a number of national and international projects the QSRG supports improved patient care by facilitating use of their improvement model that includes interventions to improve clinical outcomes and improve the culture of safety. Broad application of this science can save lives, reduce costs of care, and increase clinical collaboration.

The team includes a diverse group of dedicated faculty and staff focused on making healthcare safer.
