
Ms. Wyskiel is a Senior Research Coordinator for the On the CUSP: Stop BSI program in the Quality Safety Research Group (QSRG). Rhonda has 14 years of bedside nursing experience in the Weinberg Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
During this time she has actively participated in the development and implementation of many patient safety initiatives across the hospital including the Daily Goals checklist to improve communication among care providers and the Central Line Insertion Checklist to prevent bloodstream infections.
She has also been an integral and critical force in the development, implementation, and spread of the comprehensive unit-based safety program (CUSP) to improve teamwork and safety culture at Johns Hopkins. Rhonda recently completed a Patient Safety Fellowship in the Center for Innovations at Hopkins and continues to coach new CUSP teams in other clinical areas both at Hopkins and internationally.
Most recently she has joined QSRG to share her expertise in ICU nursing, patient safety, and quality of care with teams participating in the national On the CUSP: Stop BSI program.
