Keynote Speaker

Shirley Nathan-Pulliam has been a member of the Maryland House of Delegates since 1994. She has an extraordinary legislative record, sponsoring and co-sponsoring hundreds of bills that were signed into law. One of her key legislative initiatives is the treatment of co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders. Delgate Nathan-Pulliam also is the founder of the Black Mental Health Alliance, an organization that provides mental health resources for African Americans and other people of color.
