ASSISTANCE WITH MEDIA INQUIRIES AND PRESS RELEASES

Christy Brownlee Our media representative in the Office of Media Relations and Public Affairs is Christen Brownlee. You may be contacted occasionally when she has media requests for interviews. Please call her if you are contacted directly by the media. Notify her of important research you are submitting for publication but be sure to send papers at least one month prior to a potential on-line publication date. All materials received are embargoed and kept in strict confidence until publication.

Marjorie Centofanti is Assistant Director of Science Publications in the Johns Hopkins Department of Marketing and Communications.She writes and edits Hopkins Brain Wise, Psychiatry’s newsletter that features updates on clinical care and departmental research, along with the occasional historical or biographical piece. With a circulation of nearly 5,000, Brain Wise reaches referring psychiatrists, psychologists and mental health professionals within 250 miles of Hopkins, as well as present and past Psychiatry faculty, Psychiatry alums, friends of Hopkins Psychiatry, a small number of patients and national science journalists who specialize in mental health reporting.
