Professional Interests

My primary research interests have been developing and evaluating behavioral interventions for drug abuse and unemployment. Specifically, I have been interested in developing effective contingency management interventions for substance abuse.  My research focus has been developing and evaluating an employment-based intervention for individuals with long histories of drug addiction and chronic unemployment. I am also involved in evaluating a behavioral treatment that incorporates the Community Reinforcement Approach Behavior Therapy and abstinence contingent housing in recently detoxed heroin addicts.
