Professional Interests

My primary interests include research and treatment of severe substance use disorders, primarily opioid dependence.  Our work focuses on optimal matching of treatment to patient needs, improving delivery of  treatment services, as well as evaluation of psychiatric comorbidity in severe substance abusing patients and how this affects patient outcome.
