Treatment  of uncomplicated and complicated grief reactions associated with: bereavement; chronic life-limiting illness; terminal illness; end of life care; palliative and hospice care.  Training of healthcare professionals, clergy, volunteers, family caregivers, school personnel and workplace counselors, in the understanding and response to people grieving life-change events. Raising the consciousness of professional and lay people regarding the normalcy of the human grief reaction.
