As a Center of Excellence in Recovery, the Adult Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (Adult PRP), provides a full range of psychiatric rehabilitation services for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness who have moderate to severe functional deficits. The program’s goal is to promote independent and community living skills and facilitates the individual’s rehabilitation and recovery.
Behavioral Health Home (BHH) The primary objective of the Behavioral Health Home is to support individuals in reaching their behavioral health goals. Physical health and wellbeing can be achieved through the following services: comprehensive care management; care coordination; health promotion; comprehensive transitional care; individual and family supports and community/ social support referrals
Intensive On-site Services (IOS) provides educational services, which support individuals in achieving their identified life goals and tools to live well. All educational services are defined by principles of recovery. Intensive On-site Services is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Supported Employment Services includes pre-employment training; job development and placement; job coaching; and vocational planning and counseling.
Supported Housing Services provides assistance to individuals in acquiring their desired living arrangements. Support and resources are available for those who request assistance in securing and managing their own home. Services also are available for individuals who need a supervised living arrangement.
Rehabilitation Coordination assists individuals with rehabilitation and recovery goals. Rehabilitation coordination brings together all services and support, including family, friends, medical, psychiatric, residential and vocational.
The Adult Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program is a recognized leader in supported employment, recovery education, wellness, and supported housing. The program is accredited by The Joint Commission, Mental Hygiene Administration in the State of Maryland and certified by the Maryland Department of Education Division of Rehabilitation (DORS)
