How your gift helps the Department of Psychiatry
Our clinical research programs, which are closely tied to patient care, range from efficacy and treatment-response studies to clinical trials and epidemiology. The basic research we conduct encompasses bioinformatics, genetics, neuroscience, and molecular biology. All of these efforts strive to unlock the causal pathways to the major psychiatric conditions and to use this knowledge to develop practical means to improve recognition, diagnosis, and treatment of these conditions. Such investigations have been made possible with through the genorosity of our patients and donors.
Contributions can be made in support of the Department of Psychiatry or can be restricted to benefit the work of a specific clinician or researcher or a specific program within the Department. With your help, we can continue to advance our research and provide a better quality of life for the world. Thank you for your partnership.
