Dr. Truta joined Johns Hopkins from the Sacramento VA Medical Center in California, where she was an assistant clinical professor of medicine. A specialist in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and hereditary colon cancer syndromes (HNPCC, FAP), Dr. Truta is working on several ongoing projects related to Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
