Biography

Dr. Max K. Fischer is an assistant professor of dermatology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His area of clinical expertise is dermatopathology.

Dr. Fischer received his undergraduate degree in biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He earned his M.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and a master’s of public health in epidemiology from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. He completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Maryland, followed by a fellowship in dermatopathology at New York University Langone Medical Center. Dr. Fischer joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2012.

He is board certified in dermatopathology and anatomic and clinical pathology from the American Board of Pathology.
