Theresa Gan Leung, M.D., is an assistant professor of ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute. She specializes in uveitis and ocular inflammation as well as general eye disease. Her research interests include scleritis and serum biomarkers for non-infectious uveitis.
Dr. Leung received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and completed her ophthalmology residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. After residency, she pursued fellowship training in uveitis and ocular inflammation at the Wilmer Eye Institute and joined the Wilmer faculty in 2012.
