Background
Nadia Hensley is the Physician Advisor and Director of Clinical Quality and Patient Safety for the Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine department. Her research and quality improvement interests are in patient blood management and coagulation management for perioperative patients.
Dr. Hensley is an Assistant professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
She received her undergraduate degree in Biology at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. She went on to earn her medical degree at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine.
Dr. Hensley completed a residency in anesthesiology at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System and a fellowship in cardiac anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She specializes in adult cardiothoracic anesthesiology.
