Vagal Sensory Neurobiology; The peripheral nervous system in healthy and inflamed tissues
Dr. Bradley Undem is a Professor of Medicine in the Allergy and Clinical Immunology division. He studies the peripheral nervous system in healthy and inflamed tissues and vagal sensory neurobiology.
Dr. Undem holds a bachelor’s degree from North Dakota State University and a PhD and masters of science from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins before joining the faculty in 1987. He is a member of the American Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Biology, the American Thoracic Society, the American Physiological Society, the American Society for Neuroscience and the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society, and serves on the editorial board of several journals.
