Dr. Sosena Kebede is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She holds a joint appointment in health policy and management and an associate faculty appointment in international health, both at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her area of clinical expertise is internal medicine. 

Dr. Kebede received her M.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She completed her residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Her research interests include health disparities, health literacy and medical education.
