Biography

Dr. Atman Desai specializes in the management of spinal degenerative disorders, spinal tumors, trauma to the spinal cord and vertebral column, complex reconstruction and restoration of the spine, and minimally invasive spine surgery.

His current research focuses on understanding how quality care can be best measured and delivered, and how surgical complications can be prevented.

Dr. Desai practices at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
