Dr. Dorothy Sippo attended Stevens Institute of Technology where she received a BS in Chemical Biology, with a minor in Literature. She graduated from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ): New Jersey Medical School, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Sippo completed her Diagnostic Radiology Residency at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, a teaching affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. She followed her residency with a combined Breast Imaging and Imaging Informatics Fellowship at Brigham and Women''s Hospital. Dr. Sippo also holds a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard School of Public Health. She is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and is also a Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP). This designation is awarded by the American Board of Imaging Informatics. Prior to coming to Johns Hopkins, Dr. Sippo practiced at the University of Vermont-Fletcher Allen Health Care medical center. Dr. Sippo specializes in all aspects of breast imaging relative to screening and diagnostic procedures. Her expertise encompasses mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound and MRI, as well as, image guided breast procedures.
