Debbie Grammer, M.Ed., MED, CCC-SLP, earned her first master’s degree in speech pathology from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC.In order to pursue her clinical interests in aural rehabilitation, she earned a second Master’s degree in deaf education from Smith College in Northampton, MA, in collaboration with Clarke Schools for Speech and Hearing.
Debbie has been a certified speech-language pathologist through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association since 2003. Currently as a member of the Johns Hopkins Listening Center team, Debbie offers professional speech-language services, including comprehensive speech-language evaluations and aural rehabilitation for children and adults who receive cochlear implants.She is also part of ongoing research conducted with cochlear implant recipients.
