Kathryn Carson is a senior research associate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She holds a joint appointment in medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her research focuses on epidemiology.

Research Summary

Ms. Carson’s primary interest is to assist investigators with most aspects of their studies, beginning with study design and protocol/grant writing, data cleaning and analysis, and writing of manuscripts. Through the ICTR (Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, formerly known as the GCRC), she has worked with investigators from many departments. Areas of concentrated effort include brain and thyroid cancer, Alzheimer's disease, atherosclerosis, hypertension, HIV and systemic lupus erythematosus.
