Background

Ian C. Han, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute. He specializes in the medical and surgical management of vitreoretinal diseases. 

Dr. Han earned his M.D. from the Duke University School of Medicine. He completed ophthalmology residency and fellowship training in medical and surgical retina at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins. 

Dr. Han is active in resident education, serving as the Assistant Chief of Service for 2015-16. His research interests include surgical management of ocular trauma, and evaluation of current and developing retinal imaging for improved diagnosis and management of retinal disease.
