Dr. Shetarra Walker is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her area of clinical expertise is pediatric cardiology. 

After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Dr. Walker earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Children’s National Medical Center/George Washington University and performed her fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the University of Virginia (UVA) Children’s Hospital Heart Center. Dr. Walker also holds a master’s degree in science from the University of Virginia.

She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Walker is a member of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.
