In the fall of 2012, Dr. Saleh Alqahtani, joined the Johns Hopkins Hospital following a successful tenure on the faculty of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Alqahtani also served as Instructor in Medicine at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, and faculty at Um Alqura University and King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Alqahtani has been an invited speaker both nationally and internationally, having lectured in Latin America, Asia and Europe. Dr. Alqahtani has been recognized with several awards and honors, authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and is board-certified in Transplant Hepatology, Gastroenterology and Internal medicine
