With a focus on Hepatology, Dr. Woreta joined Johns Hopkins as a part-time faculty member at Johns Hopkins Bayview. She completed her transplant hepatology fellowship with the Division of Gastroenterology in 2013. Her clinical research interests include chronic viral hepatitis, hepatocellular carcinoma, and liver transplantation outcomes.  Dr. Woreta has authored several publications and chapters and is board-certied in Internal medicine, Gastroenterology, and Transplant Hepatology. more
