Biography

Dr. Jonathan Jun is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His areas of clinical expertise include pulmonary and critical care medicine.

Dr. Jun is a faculty member at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Sleep Disorders Center and a pulmonary and critical care medicine faculty member in the Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Dr. Jun earned his M.D. from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and performed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Johns Hopkins.

He received a grant from the Baltimore Diabetes Research Center in 2012 to conduct research on the role of lipolysis in intermittent hypoxia-induced insulin resistance. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Association of Critical Care Medicine.
