Dr. Peter Revenaugh is the 2013-2014 fellow in the Johns Hopkins Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Revenaugh comes to Johns Hopkins after completing six years of training in head and neck surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Revenaugh is training with Drs. Byrne, Boahene, Papel and Ishii. His clinical specialties focus on a wide variety of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures of the head and neck. He has particular interest in rhinoplasty, aging face restoration, facial reanimation for those with facial paralysis, and reconstruction following cancers of the head and neck.
While at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Revenaugh trained under some of the leaders in facial reconstruction and has received several honors and grants for research. He performed clinical and scientific research on facial reconstruction, rhinoplasty, and facial reanimation. Dr. Revenaugh has presented research at several national and international meetings and has published numerous journal articles and textbooks chapters.
Dr. Revenaugh contributes to several humanitarian organizations providing free facial reconstructive procedures in developing countries as well as local charitable efforts. He has traveled worldwide to locations such as Uganda, India, Guatemala, and Honduras to perform cleft lip and palate as well as other surgical procedures for the less fortunate.
When not working in the operating room, Dr. Revenaugh enjoys traveling, running and a variety of outdoor activities.
