Jillian S. Chapman, O.D., earned her her Doctorate of Optometry from Ferris State College of Optometry (now Michigan College of Optometry), and was awarded the Fisons Pharmaceuticals Award for Clinical Excellence and the Joseph Sasaki Award for Outstanding Optometric Performance. She interned at Perry Point Veterans Administration Medical Center and Wurtsmith Air Force Base.
Dr. Chapman has been practicing primary eye care since 1992 with a concentration in the area of vision correction. This includes diagnostic refractive eye exams, candidacy determination, surgical outcome review, and post-operative care in LASIK, advanced surface treatment, radial keratotomy, astigmatic keratotomy and refractive lens exchange. She specializes in ocular surface and external disease including evaluations for dry eye and Sjögren''s Syndrome. Her expertise also includes the diagnosis and monitoring of eye-affecting medications.
