Beatriz Munoz, M.S.
Associate Professor of Ophthalmology
Research Interests: Epidemiology, Trachoma
Beatriz Muñoz, M.S., is an associate professor of ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute and is a biostatistician at the Dana Center for Preventive Ophthalmology, a joint collaboration of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research interests are in the epidemiology of eye disease, with a current focus on trachoma control, and she leads the data management/statistical analyses efforts for ongoing Dana Center studies.
Ms. Muñoz received an M.S. in operations research from Stanford University and has also studied at the Harvard University Extension School. A member of the Wilmer faculty since 1986, Ms. Munoz serves on the Wilmer Data Processing Committee and the Dana Center Training and Fellowship Committee.
