Dr. Alexander Hillels research focuses on biomaterials and tissue engineering and he has experience using stem cells to develop adipose tissue and cartilage. In addition, he developed a biocompatible tissue filler to for laryngeal and soft tissue implantation. Dr. Hillel plans to apply his experience investigating stem cell differentiation and biomaterials toward regeneration of the vocal folds and laryngotracheal cartilage for the treatment of laryngotracheal stenosis.
