Biography

Dr. Justin Avery Bishop is an assistant professor of pathology and otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His areas of clinical interests include sinonasal tumors, salivary gland tumors, HPV-related head and neck carcinomas pathology. Dr. Bishop is the second consultant in the Head and Neck Pathology Laboratory.

Dr. Bishop earned his M.D. from Texas Tech University HSC School of Medicine. He completed his residency in pathology and a fellowship in surgical pathology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

He is the co-author of the Quick Reference Handbook for Surgical Pathologists and Atlas of Radiologic Cytopathologic Correlations. He has authored over 50 peer-reviewed articles.
